Jed Aicher is a classically trained actor and singer with a resonant baritone voice. His favorite stage roles include Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire, and Lennie in Of Mice and Men, for which he was nominated for a Connecticut Broadway World Award. His intense curiosity about the world has led him down many different paths. Because he loves to help people tell their own stories, he has taught acting classes everywhere from nursing homes to a medium security prison (with Rehabilitation for the Arts). His life experience and time onstage help him bring authenticity and intensity to the books he narrates. He loves learning and speaking accents of any kind, but especially those from the UK and Ireland. He has a passion for tough characters, traveling, dogs, and mezcal, not necessarily in that order.
