About Jed

I'm a classically trained actor and singer with a resonant baritone voice. My favorite AEA stage roles include Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire,

and Lennie in Of Mice and Men,

for which I was nominated for a Connecticut Broadway World Award.

Mysteries, horror, historical fiction, and nonfiction books are an especially good fit for me. I love learning and speaking accents of any kind, and I have a special affinity for those from the UK and Ireland.

My passion for storytelling has given me a breadth of experience and emotional honesty that I bring to every book I narrate.  In addition to performing, I have directed several plays, musicals, and pantos, including a sold out "live radio play" of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I have taught acting classes everywhere from elementary schools to nursing homes to Woodbourne medium security prison (with Rehabilitation for the Arts).

Outside of the booth, I have a passion for record stores, my family, traveling,

pit bulls, and mezcal, but not in that order.
